Last night I went to the movies with the guys from “Come Out Penrith” again, well actually it was only Brad and I. I didn’t mind because Brad is so sexy and cute. We even kissed when we met in the lobby of the theatre (very nice, I still haven’t washed my face!). I would love to hit on him but I fear rejection; why would he bother with an old fag like me?But I digress. The movie was great. Not sure what it would be like but Seth Rogan (Dale Denton in the movie) had not disappointed in the past. Just loved Rogan in “Knocked Up” and “Superbad” so knew it would be good in that action/comedy genre with lots of off-the-wall stuff. Not sure about James Franco who plays Saul Silver. Franco starred as James Dean in the movie of the same name in 2001 and has appeared in the “Spiderman” movies.As a stoner and dealer in this movie he is great and when he smiles is very sexy, A greal role for him, and easy on the eyes.This is one movie you should see; I’ve given it 4 stars which it easily deserves.
Lazy court-process clerk and stoner Dale Denton has only one reason to visit his equally lazy dealer Saul Silver: to purchase weed, specifically, a rare new strain called Pineapple Express. But when Dale becomes the only witness to a murder by a crooked cop and the city’s most dangerous drug lord, he panics and dumps his roach of Pineapple Express at the scene. Dale now has another reason to visit Saul: to find out if the weed is so rare that it can be traced back to him–and it is. As Dale and Saul run for their lives, they quickly discover that they’re not suffering from weed-fueled paranoia: incredibly, the bad guys really are hot on their trail and trying to figure out the fastest way to kill them both. All aboard the Pineapple Express.
