NEW YEARS EVE
is such a wild night!
Where will you be???
I establish a blog called CULTURE MOB who summed it up best…2009 is wait for us right round the corner, and on with it comes a new beginning and a new opportunity to make and cast your spirit into one of which you have ever dreamed. So maybe 2008 wasn’t the best year ever for you;
perhaps your new place was repossessed, you had to betray your hybrid car to buy gasoline, you were set off from your dream job and now can’t get even get a part-time gig bussing tables. Some jerk stole your iPhone out of your car, your stocks are worth less than Britney Spears’ new album…
At this point, there is but one thing left to do: PARTY YOUR BRAINS OUT!
When all else fails, we must gather round us those whom we know and delight in the simple joys of tender human society that cost nothing, drink a cheap domestic brew or five (get your buzz on AND keep the internal economy), indulge in the free aerobic entertainment known as dance and let your person be soothed by music.
This is NOT the class to spend New Year’s Eve sitting at place in presence of your TV with a stomach full of pepperoni Hot Pockets and a train of Jagermeister-flavored drool hanging off your pouty lower lip. Get out there and connect your friends in celebration of what lies ahead, because let’s admit it, folks, it can’t get much worse than this!

New Year’s Eve in Prague is party night. The restaurants and river boats are wide of people all evening, and the atmosphere gently building. Towards midnight the squares and the banks of the river fill, as people gather to admire fireworks over the city.
Lots of fireworks at midnight, of course. The beginning is to assemble anywhere on, or overlooking, the river: this means Charles Bridge, Petrin Hill and Prague Castle, plus the terraces of the river restaurants and the decks of the river cruise boats (which incline to accumulate around Charles Bridge).
The second choice for midnight is the Old Town Square, and to a lesser extent, Wenceslas Square. The Old Town Square in special is the ‘adventurous’ option! Fireworks in the air, as good as street level, but it’s very safe.
The big gay party will be at TEMPLE! Originally Pinocchio, the order was completely redesigned in 2007 to make Prague a whole new venue for it’s gay community and visitors. It’s a beautiful place and much of fun people as good as enough of eye candy!

No matter where you are, or how you
celebrate, we need to like you all a very
happy new year, and best wishes for a
better 2009 for all of us!nbsp;
